AJK Board is the only educational board of AJK which has the responsibility to conduct the annual and supply exams of SSC and HSSC exams in the area of Azad Jammu & Kashmir. All the schools and colleges in AJK are affiliated with BISE AJK and every year thousands of regular and private students appear in the annual exam of matric and inter classes under AJK Board. BISE AJK organizes SSC part 1 & 2 annual exams during the months of March and April. Written and practical papers are held separately in March and April respectively. Later, the intermediate annual exams are organized by AJK Board in May and June. Written papers are held in March and practical in June.

The matric and intermediate class results are announced after two or three months of the annual exams. 9th and 10th class annual exams results are announced in June or July while 11th and 12th class annual exams results are announced in August or September. Soon after the result announcement, the matric and inter class results are uploaded at the official site of the board from where the students can easily view their results. The students can also receive their SSC and HSSC annual exams results after few days of the result announcement.

Later, AJK Board conducts supply exams of matric and inter class for the unsuccessful students after the announcement of annual exams results. The SSC and HSSC supply exams results are declared by the board after one or two months of the exams.
